Putting Rings into a Traveler’s Notebook

Putting Rings into a Traveler’s Notebook

After many failed attempts and some help from the Chic Sparrow Facebook Group, I’ve finally gotten rings to stay inside of my strings!

These are personal size rings inside of a Chic Sparrow B6 slim notebook (Deluxe Odyssey Hera, for those of you keeping score). My tabs do stick out a bit at the opening side, but I like it that way. Next up, I would love to try the same thing in a regular B6 (not a Slim). I’m wondering if 30 mm rings will fit into a regular B6…

Agendio Planners – Customization Nirvana

Agendio Planners – Customization Nirvana

There isn’t anything I could write that would do a better job than what I said in the video, so I’m just going to put that right here for you to enjoy!

Go look at Agendio, seriously. They’re all kinds of awesome. Spiral-bound planners with lovely colors and additional little extras that make it yours. Customization and personalization of your inserts to a wonderful extent — and I don’t just mean fonts and colors (although, those are customizable as well). Your page layouts, divisions, labels, with your events and activities pre-printed onto your pages.

Yes. That good.

The first half of this video features a walk-through of the Agendio website and the customization process, and the second half features what I’m using from Agendio.

Periscope Rebroadcast: By Request: My Project Lists

This was supposed to be just regarding my Project Lists, but it turned into talk of #onebookdecember, inserts from DIYFish, RogueCrusade, and PlanInk on Etsy, and the lovely Filofax Personal Original in Pillar Box Red.

(And, yes, next time I’ll record the Periscope broadcast in Landscape mode. I’ve already gotten used to just holding the phone in portrait for Periscope and didn’t even give it a thought at the time.

Archiving Your Planner

Archiving Your Planner

Do you keep your used planner pages? If so, do you use some sort of back-up method for keeping the really important information safe?

I do keep my planner pages, for several reasons:

  • I find it useful to refer to how I dealt with huge schedule changes in the past
  • Important dates and paperwork (receipts, etc.) are easy to find
  • Looking back on events is a fun trip down memory lane

Of course, anything that is super-important or to which I know I will need to refer in the future gets scanned into Evernote, like so.

Go check out how Rhomany archives her pages!
